Common questions
Tap Get started, create your Khala account with your email and phone, then add your business. You can use the same account on the web app and the iOS and Android apps.
Your business wallet becomes active once your business is verified. Upload your KYC documents (business certificate and the director's ID, front and back) from the app; once they're approved, open Your businesses and tap Activate.
By M-Pesa: send them a payment request (STK push) from the app, or give them your Paybill and wallet account number. They can also pay by bank transfer into your wallet.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot PIN. We'll send a one-time code to your email and phone, then you can set a new 4-digit PIN.
Admins and anyone your business has made an approver. The person who requests a payment can't approve it, and every approval needs the approver's PIN.
Khala Pay calculates PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy at current rates for each employee, sends the run for one approval and pays each salary to the employee's own M-Pesa or bank account.
